This Privacy Policy describes how 4Rio (4rio.com.au, "we", "us") collects, uses and discloses your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from our site. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Device information: browser type, IP address, time zone, cookie data and how you browse the site. Collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies, and used to load the site correctly and improve it.

Order information: your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and payment details. Collected when you place an order, and used to fulfil your order, process payment, arrange shipping, send order confirmations and, where you have opted in, send you marketing.

Account and rewards information: your email, order history and points balance if you create an account or join 4Rio Glow Rewards, used to run your account and the rewards program.

Support information: anything you share with us when you contact customer support, used to help you.

How we share it

We share personal information with the service providers that make our store work: Shopify (our ecommerce platform, see Shopify's privacy policy), payment providers including Afterpay, shipping carriers, Growave (which powers 4Rio Glow Rewards and reviews), and analytics and advertising partners such as Google and Meta. We may also share information to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, or protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.

Marketing

If you have opted in, we will send you emails about products, offers and 4Rio Glow Rewards. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We may also use your information to show you relevant ads through partners like Google and Meta; you can opt out of personalised advertising through those platforms' ad settings.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help the site remember your preferences, keep your cart working and help us understand how the site is used.
